-unshare all your files if you have more then 100
-Use a firewall
-use a program that is less popular and known because the RIAA is mostly after kazaa,morpheus and blubster..try Ares

cannot contact you as easy unless they have an IP Adress
-if you download alot of MP3s and files make sure you aren't sharing them, that makes a less chance the RIAA can see you

-give out person information
-use a popular p2p program such as kazaa

-give out IP Adress which the RIAA can track you and contact your ISP
